Amar Deep

This 1979 Hindi drama follows Raja, a young man raised by a crime boss who inherits his mentor's wealth and status after his death, growing proud and entitled in the process. When Raja sets his sights on marrying Radha, the daughter of his household servant, he learns she is already devoted to another man named Kishan, and after uncovering something about Kishan's history, Raja unexpectedly helps arrange their marriage and gives Kishan work that keeps him frequently away from home. As time passes, Kishan grows wary of Raja's motives, wondering whether his generosity hides a hidden agenda tied to Radha.
