This Hindi comedy follows Veer, a cash-strapped aspiring musician who has told his rich stepbrother Dharam that he is married to his girlfriend to keep receiving financial support. When Dharam unexpectedly extends his stay in India, Veer and his prank-loving friend Prem must juggle mounting money troubles, a botched illegal car race, a rented-out house, and a series of swapped identities to keep the lie from unraveling. Directed by Rohit Shetty and released in 2009, the film is an adaptation of an English stage comedy and became a hit during its Diwali release.
