This 2013 Tamil action comedy follows Alex, a small-time thief who is drawn into staying at the home of a man named Kaalayan, where his easy charm with the household causes friction while also sparking a local rivalry with a neighborhood tough guy. His life becomes further complicated when a woman named Divya, who turns out to be the chief minister's daughter, is caught up in a scheme involving a crooked doctor and a pharmacist plotting to push dangerous counterfeit medicine. Alex is hired to hold her hostage for a few days as part of the plot, setting off a chain of events that puts both of them in danger.
