Set during Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait, this Hindi-language drama follows a comfortable Indian expatriate businessman who identifies more with his adopted home than his homeland. When the invasion traps thousands of Indian nationals in the country, he is forced to confront the crisis alongside his wife and young daughter, using his connections with local and Iraqi officials to try to protect his community. The story is inspired by real events involving Indian businessmen who helped organize the evacuation of their compatriots during the conflict.
