Set in 1930s Kerala during India's independence struggle, this spiritual drama follows Unni and Devaki, a couple navigating the rigid traditions and customs of a Namboothiri joint family household. While the couple shares deep affection, Devaki's desire to engage with the changing world clashes with the family's adherence to established ways, creating tensions that unfold through the recollections of Unni's half-sister.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
