This 1983 Tamil drama follows the orphaned heiress of a zamindar family who vanishes as a child after her parents are murdered by a vengeful attacker. Years later, a bounty hunter hired by a scheming diwan tricks a tribal dancer who resembles the missing girl into posing as the lost heir, but the deception grows complicated as the two con artists develop feelings for each other while trying to convince the grieving grandmother and family retainers of the girl's identity.
