This Tamil-language drama follows Adithya Varma, a talented but short-tempered medical student whose life changes when he falls for a shy junior, Meera Shetty. Their relationship faces resistance from her family over caste differences and his volatile temperament, and when she is married off to another man, Adithya spirals into drug and alcohol dependency while still excelling as a surgeon. The story traces his personal unraveling and the beginnings of his path back from it, following the same storyline as the Telugu film it remakes.
