In this 2005 Tamil romance, a newly qualified job-seeker named Anand moves to Chennai and lodges with an elderly man whose daughter is recovering from a troubled marriage. As he searches for work, he forms close bonds with two other women: a resourceful, family-minded woman he meets on a bus, and an independent orphan he helps after an accident. The story follows how these intertwined friendships and feelings develop, alongside a comic subplot involving a bus conductor.
