This 2004 Hindi crime drama, directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Ram Gopal Varma, follows Sadhu Agashe, a Mumbai Crime Branch officer renowned for his high number of encounter killings. His reputation and personal life come under strain amid rivalries with a jealous colleague, a new police commissioner tied to the underworld, and dealings with a rival gang boss. Loosely based on the career of a real Mumbai police officer, the film has no musical numbers and was followed by a 2015 sequel.
