This 1994 Hindi crime drama follows two brothers raised by their widowed mother, who find refuge with a local gangster after one of them kills a man threatening her. As the elder brother pushes his sibling toward an honest future by turning to crime himself to fund his education, the younger brother grows up to become a police officer, only to be assigned to hunt down the very people who raised him. Directed by Sanjay Gupta in his debut, the film draws on the stories of Deewaar and A Better Tomorrow and features Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Pancholi, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor and Atul Agnihotri.
