Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, this 2010 Hindi drama follows Rahul, a habitual gambler whose reckless life is upended when he is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Seeking refuge, he checks into a hospice-like care facility, where his encounters with other terminally ill residents, including an elderly cancer patient, a former sex worker, a young disabled girl, and an unusual child, gradually reshape his outlook on life and love. The film explores his evolving bonds within the center and his strained connection with his fiancée.
