Aanai is a 2005 Tamil-language action film directed by Selvaa, starring Arjun alongside Namitha and Keerthi Chawla, with support from Vadivelu, Sanghavi and Manoj K. Jayan. It follows a former police officer who takes on the job of protecting a wealthy man's young daughter, only to be driven into a violent pursuit of retribution after she is abducted by a militant while abroad in London. The story is an adaptation of the 2004 American thriller Man on Fire.
