This 2013 Kannada horror movie, marking director K S Ashoka's debut, uses a found-footage style to depict a group of six friends from Mandya and Bangalore who set out on a trekking trip into the Western Ghats. As they venture deeper into the forest, they encounter increasingly bizarre and frightening occurrences suggesting a supernatural presence, with the footage recovered later by rescuers after the trip ends in tragedy. It is noted as the first Kannada film to use this documentary-style horror format, and was said to draw inspiration from a well-known American indie horror film.
