Every few days our crawlers walk the Indian shelves of the services that matter in the United States and note what was not there before. This is the pick of the last six weeks: films that were on no US service in July and are one tap away now. Netflix did most of the work this month, and almost all of it is 2026 releases going straight from cinemas to the living room.
A note on language, because it is the thing this site exists for. Where a service publishes which audio tracks it carries, we say so. Where it does not, the track we list is inferred from the film's original language, and it is marked that way on the film's page. Netflix in particular tends to open a Tamil or Telugu film in a Hindi dub for American accounts. Check the audio menu before the opening credits, not after.

Main Vaapas Aaunga (2026, Hindi, 167 min). A grandson caring for his grandfather in the old man's confused last days finds that the confusion is a love story from Partition, and goes looking for the woman in it. The film moves between the present-day search and the grandfather's youth. Romantic drama with a long memory, and the one on this list to watch with a parent.
Peddi (2026, Telugu, 189 min). After a poor Indian Olympic showing, a sports ministry official is sent to a hilltop village in Andhra Pradesh to learn about a local legend called Peddi, whose name has pushed a generation of village kids toward athletics. The film flashes back to 1994 to tell you who Peddi was. Three hours long and earns most of it.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026, Hindi, 229 min). The second half of a two-part spy story, and the conclusion. An Indian intelligence operative works his way deeper into Karachi's criminal and political networks, driven by the 26/11 attacks. Nearly four hours. Watch the 2025 original first or you will spend the first hour lost.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do (2026, Hindi, 117 min). Mudassar Aziz's romantic comedy shares a title and a spirit with his 2019 film and nothing else: new characters, new cast, new mess. The shortest film on this list and the easiest sell for a mixed room. Netflix lists Hindi and English audio.
Bhooth Bangla (2026, Hindi, 164 min). A family restores an ancestral estate for a wedding and wakes up a spirit with a grudge going back decades. A young heir and a writer looking for her missing sister get drawn into the house's history. Comedy horror, which in Hindi cinema means more comedy than horror, and that is the right proportion.
Blast (2026, Tamil, 144 min). A karate instructor and his family, all of them fighters, become targets of a businessman whose mining scheme would flatten a nearby village. Netflix lists Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English tracks for this one. Those are inferred from the listing rather than confirmed by Netflix, so look before you press play if you want the original Tamil.
Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies (2026, Malayalam, 134 min). Three brothers in Fort Kochi start a homegrown wrestling promotion modelled on WWE showmanship. The title is a local phrase meaning "do or die". Malayalam comedies travel better than their reputation suggests, and this is a good one to test that on.
On Prime Video
O'Romeo (2026, Hindi, 178 min). Vishal Bhardwaj directs Shahid Kapoor in a romantic crime thriller drawn from Hussain Zaidi's Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Bhardwaj's crime films are the ones people mean when they say Hindi cinema can do noir. Prime has not told us which audio tracks it carries, so expect Hindi and check.
Coolie (2025, Tamil, 170 min). Lokesh Kanagaraj's action thriller about a man who once ran a coolie union and sets out to find out how a friend died, which leads him into a criminal network that would rather he did not. Prime lists five audio tracks: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Inferred, not confirmed, so the usual check applies.
What did not make the list
Older titles keep turning up on services as licences change hands. RRR, Animal, Dangal and Jawan were all newly listed on a US service in the last six weeks. They are on the new to streaming page, which updates as the crawls run, along with everything above and whatever arrives next week.
