The story then flashes back to 1994, tracing how a talented but impoverished tribal laborer named Peddi rose from playing cricket for money to training as a wrestler, all while his community fought discrimination and sought official recognition as a village. His journey is shaped by a romance, rivalries, and personal tragedy as he strives to bring dignity and identity to his people through sport.
