Zokkomon

An orphaned boy is sent to live with an uncle who resents him and later abandons him in Mumbai to fraudulently claim an insurance payout after faking his death. Taken in by a homeless woman who befriends him, the boy eventually makes his way back to his village, where he must confront his uncle's corruption and the community's superstitions using gadgets given by a scientist once cast out of the town. The 2011 Hindi-language film blends family drama with a masked-vigilante storyline aimed at younger audiences.
