A Sri Lankan Tamil refugee with musical talent arrives at a church in southern India, where he must navigate bureaucratic obstacles and police suspicion as he pursues an opportunity to compete in an international music competition abroad. The film follows his struggle to obtain the necessary documentation while evading authorities who view him as an illegal immigrant.
