This 1993 Tamil action drama, directed by P. Vasu, centers on Walter Vetrivel, an upright IPS officer who falls for and marries a dancer named Sumathi after she becomes entangled with a criminal gang. As the couple faces escalating threats and betrayal, Walter is forced into a painful conflict with his own younger brother, who has secretly sided with the criminals. The film stars Sathyaraj, Sukanya and Ranjitha, and was a major commercial hit upon release.
