This 2001 Tamil comedy, directed by Rama Narayanan, follows the mild-mannered Viswanathan and his artist wife Meena after a visiting friend, aspiring director Ramamoorthy, and his wife Shenbagam move into their home. When Viswanathan learns he stands to inherit a large sum from a late uncle, but only if his wife is seen behaving affectionately toward him, the two couples hatch a scheme involving mistaken identities to secure the inheritance while Meena is away. Complications multiply as the uncle's manager and his daughter get drawn into the ruse, leading to a series of comic misunderstandings.
