A young man obsessed with movies moves to the city hoping to become a film actor and ends up renting a room in a woman's home. Their initial clashes over his habit of loudly rehearsing film scenes gradually turn into romance, complicated by her uncle, who has his own intentions of marrying her and tries to come between them.
