Set in the world of journalism, this 1986 Tamil romantic drama follows reporter Raghu as he falls for and eventually marries Vasantha, a young widow, with her mother's blessing. Their new life is upended when they discover that Vasantha's presumed-dead first fiancé is actually alive and now a celebrated stage performer, forcing the family to confront unresolved feelings from the past. The story explores the emotional fallout as old ties resurface within Raghu and Vasantha's marriage.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
