This 2022 Tamil romantic comedy-drama, marking director Santhosh Rajan's debut, follows Karthi, an aimless young man in Coimbatore who gets drawn into local politics by his mentor-like friend Adaikalam while also becoming entangled with two sisters, Jamuna and Yamuna, from a Malayali family that has recently moved into his neighborhood. Karthi initially wavers between the sisters before pursuing Yamuna, leading to misunderstandings, a broken relationship, and complications once her father starts arranging marriage proposals for his daughters. The story is framed by a flash-forward to 2050, where an older Adaikalam reflects on how his friendship with Karthi affected his political ambitions.
