This 1980 Tamil drama, directed by K. Vijayan, follows Gaja, a small-time thug whose encounter with a woman named Vadivu pushes him toward reforming his ways. Starring Sivakumar and Saritha, the film was shot largely in Mysore and released in August 1980, going on to become a major commercial success for its lead actor.
