Set on Dal Lake in Kashmir during a military curfew, this film follows Gulzar, a young boatman, and his friend who become trapped in their lakeside village after attempting to escape. When a female scientist arrives to study the lake's pollution, Gulzar develops feelings for her, creating tension that threatens his friendship and their plans to leave. The narrative interweaves personal drama with documentary elements to explore life in Kashmir's vulnerable lake communities.
