This 2014 Tamil action comedy follows Sakthi, an unlucky young man who travels to his ancestral village to sell inherited land after losing his job in Chennai. There he unknowingly ends up staying in the home of a family that has sworn revenge against his father over an old feud, all while falling into a romance with the family's daughter. The story is a Tamil remake of the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, itself inspired by a classic silent comedy.
