This 1997 Tamil drama follows Durairasu, who after unrequited love and a family tragedy dedicates himself to raising the daughter of the woman he once loved, causing a lasting rift with his brother-in-law Virumandi. His life is further complicated when he rescues a mysterious woman, Annam, whose presence stirs tension within the household, particularly with the girl he has raised. The film, directed by Raj Kapoor and starring Sathyaraj, Meena, Sangita and Roja, explores family loyalty and conflict arising from these entangled relationships.
