Vaanku

A young Muslim college student in Kerala pursues her spiritual aspiration to recite the Islamic call to prayer, navigating family and community resistance while receiving support from her mother and grandmother. When her ambition becomes public through social media, she confronts social backlash, though some in her community prove sympathetic to her deeply personal spiritual goal. The film explores themes of gender, personal choice, and religious identity within a middle-class Muslim household.
