Set in a village in Mandya district, this comedy drama follows Narayana, a man content in his position as vice president of a local sangha, who becomes entangled in conflict with the village head. When the head's youngest daughter develops feelings for Narayana—who is bound to work in their household to repay his father's debt—complications arise that drive the film's events.
