Set in Chennai, this 2009 Tamil thriller follows a police commissioner who receives a call from an anonymous man claiming to have hidden explosives across the city, timed to detonate within hours. The caller insists that authorities free several convicted criminals in exchange for defusing the threat, sparking a tense standoff as investigators race to identify him using surveillance and technology. Directed by Chakri Toleti and starring Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan, it is a remake of the Hindi film A Wednesday!, made simultaneously in Telugu as Eenadu.
