This 2006 Tamil romantic action drama follows Santhosh, the London-raised son of a wealthy Tamil businessman, who falls for Kavitha while visiting Chennai for a cousin's wedding. When his mother and others object to the match because of Kavitha's poorer background, Kavitha is driven away and Santhosh follows her to her family's village in Tenkasi to win her back. There, her protective brother sets him a farming challenge to test the sincerity of his love, drawing both families into the conflict over the couple's future.
