This 1988 Telugu action drama follows Ravi Teja, a principled police officer devoted to upholding justice, who clashes repeatedly with Seshupal Rao, a corrupt and influential mayor hiding his misdeeds behind a facade of respectability. As Ravi Teja tries to protect ordinary citizens and see that land meant for freedom fighters reaches its rightful owners, his opposition to Seshupal Rao's schemes draws personal tragedy into his own family and into the lives of those close to him, including his sister and the daughter of a judge.
