This Malayalam romantic comedy centers on Joppan, a skilled kabaddi player who falls for a local landowner's daughter, Annie, but leaves his hometown after facing family disapproval, vowing to return once he becomes successful. Years later, having achieved wealth and fame through kabaddi, he comes home to reconnect with Annie, only to find circumstances have changed in his absence. His friends' recollections frame this story of youthful love, ambition, and the complications that follow when he later crosses paths with a woman named Maria.
