A village bladesmith travels to Chennai after his sister's marriage, where he encounters several gangsters controlling different parts of the city, including one who threatens his brother-in-law's business. When violence touches his own family and friends, he sets out to confront the city's criminal networks, aided by a police-officer friend, while also maintaining a romantic relationship back home. The story follows his escalating campaign against these gangs and the officials caught between law enforcement and the underworld.
