This Tamil comedy follows Pasupathy, an easygoing jobless man who loses his family home over a debt dispute and is forced to take up a marketing position at a mineral water company by posing as a devout, principled employee to satisfy his superstitious boss. When his slip-ups threaten his job, he invents an identical twin brother with a different eye color to cover his tracks, leading to escalating deceptions involving his boss's family, a suspicious bank officer, and an investigator sent to expose him. The film is a remake of an earlier Tamil comedy that was itself based on a classic Hindi film.
