A grieving couple, Padmanabhan Master and Devaki, finally locate their son Unni years after he vanished as a child during a temple festival, only to discover he now behaves erratically and seems mentally impaired. His return upends the village, sparking a string of chaotic, comic episodes, while their neighbor Panicker's daughter Ammu grows devoted to caring for him despite her cousin Gopikkuttan's disapproval. As villagers and family try to help Unni recover, hidden pieces of his past slowly begin to surface.
