A timid, do-nothing police inspector in Mumbai discovers he has only a short time left to live and realizes his family would gain far more money if he dies heroically in the line of duty rather than of illness. He sets out to provoke violent criminals into killing him, but his reckless fearlessness is mistaken for extraordinary courage, turning him into a celebrated 'super-cop' and drawing him into conflict with a powerful arms-trafficking crime boss.
