The Elephant Whisperers

This documentary follows Bomman and Bellie, a couple from the Kattunayakan indigenous community living near Mudumalai National Park in southern India, as they care for an orphaned baby elephant named Raghu. Filmed over several years, it depicts their daily efforts to nurse the injured calf back to health and the close relationship that forms between the family and the animal, which later expands to include another rescued elephant, Ammu.
