This 1983 Tamil action drama follows Arun, a wealthy but arrogant young man who falls for a spirited hotel dancer named Chitra after a series of clashes. His life is upended when an assassination attempt forces his father, Chidambaram, to admit that Arun was adopted and was originally targeted for murder as an infant along with his birth mother. As Arun uncovers the truth about his real mother Laxmi's hidden past and the criminals behind the conspiracy, he is drawn into a dangerous fight to protect her and expose those responsible.
