Set in the rural stronghold of Midhilapuri, the story follows Kasinathan, a shrewd yet good-natured businessman who looks after his loyal followers while his brother Swaminathan presides over their family estate. When a corrupt politician blocks a much-needed water supply project for a local colony, Kasinathan intervenes to force a resolution, all while an unknown admirer keeps leaving him affectionate notes. Tensions escalate as a rival businessman and the disgraced politician conspire against the family, threatening the peace Kasinathan has worked to protect.
