This Tamil-language comedy follows Shiva, a boy raised by his grandmother in Chennai after narrowly escaping infanticide in his home village, who grows up to become a swaggering local hero admired for exaggerated feats of strength. He falls for a dance-devoted young woman named Priya, wins over her wealthy, disapproving father, and later journeys back to his birthplace to uncover his family history, all while the story pokes fun at familiar tropes and clichés of mainstream Tamil cinema. Alongside the romance and reunion plot, a secret string of vigilante killings gradually draws police attention toward Shiva himself.
