After years working abroad in Kuwait, Anbazhagan comes home to his family and finds his younger brother Thamizh has grown noticeably more aggressive. The story then flashes back to show how Thamizh, once content and in love with a young tenant, gets drawn into a violent turf war between two rival local gang leaders after his niece is hurt by one gang's men. To protect his family, he is pushed toward allying with one faction against the other, escalating the conflict he had initially tried to avoid.
