Set in Madurai, this Tamil action mystery drama follows four orphaned childhood friends—Saravanan, Pazhani, Senthil, and Aarumugam—who grow into hardened, hard-drinking petty thieves bound by loyalty to one another. Their world is disrupted when Saravanan falls for Meenakshi, a moneylender's possessive daughter, straining his ties with his friends even as their escalating robberies draw the wrath of a determined police officer and various enemies. When one of the group is murdered, the survivors are left to figure out who among their many rivals is responsible.
