When laundry workers discover a dismembered body in a stream, a local police inspector's inquiry stalls after he gets an anonymous threat, prompting a CBI officer and his aide to take over the case. Investigating the victim, a young woman linked romantically to several men at an army hospital, the officer faces mounting danger as he tries to identify her killer among multiple suspects with possible motives. The 2000 crime drama was filmed on location in Pachmarhi.
