This 1988 Kannada mystery-thriller, adapted from Agatha Christie's play The Unexpected Guest, follows an escaped convict who takes refuge in the home of a childhood acquaintance, only to discover her husband's dead body hidden there. As the woman confides the circumstances behind the killing, the two become entangled in concealing the crime while a menacing outsider begins to exploit what he knows about it. Notable as an early songless, stunt-free entry in Kannada cinema, the film builds its tension purely through dialogue and suspense.
