Set among two neighboring households in central Travancore, this Malayalam drama follows Jose Kutty, a farmer content with his simple rural life alongside his wife Cicily, and Vakkchan, a well-off patriarch newly returned from abroad. As their differing lifestyles bring them into contact, frictions build between the families, with a local woman and a priest also shaping events within their community. The story ultimately suggests that genuine happiness comes from harmony at home rather than material wealth.
