Surya IPS follows a happy-go-lucky young man who is pushed by his grandfather into becoming a police officer, only to later discover a dark secret about his father's role in his mother's death. As he trains alongside a fellow cadet who becomes a fellow officer, he sets out to uncover the truth, while his father, now tied to a powerful chief minister, moves against a political rival's family, drawing the young officer into a dangerous investigation.
