This 1992 Telugu drama directed by K. Raghavendra Rao follows Venkateswarlu, a newly appointed Telugu lecturer at the junior college he once attended, who clashes with a spirited and mischievous student named Roja. A prank involving a fake love letter leads Roja to believe Venkateswarlu has feelings for her, setting off a complicated pursuit of romance despite his reluctance given their teacher-student relationship. As their lives become entangled with his eventual wife Nanchari, the story explores themes of misunderstanding, devotion, and unconventional bonds. The film, a remake of a Tamil original, features music by M. M. Keeravani and became a commercial success.
