This 1992 Tamil romantic comedy follows a dedicated but strict Tamil teacher who returns to his old school and repeatedly clashes with a spirited, mischief-prone student. A misunderstanding over a forged love letter leads the student to believe he has feelings for her, and she becomes determined to win his heart despite his firm refusal, given the ethical boundaries of their teacher-student relationship. As she leaves school and moves nearby to pursue him, the situation grows increasingly complicated for the teacher, his admirer, and the woman he eventually marries.
