This Malayalam romantic drama follows two close college friends, Nandan and Sunny, who are both singers with contrasting personalities, and their girlfriends Devi and Thara. When Devi's father rejects Nandan as a suitor because of his job as a waiter, the couples and their loyal friend Vinod scramble to find a way to keep the young lovers together against the wishes of Devi's family. The film, based on the director's own life, explores how these close bonds of friendship and love are tested by family expectations and unexpected turns of fate.
