Subhakankshalu

This 1997 Telugu comedy-drama, a remake of the Tamil film Poove Unakkaga, follows two neighboring families, one Hindu and one Christian, whose old friendship turned bitter after a young couple from each side eloped and married years earlier. Years later, the couple's grown son returns to the village with a friend, hoping to win over both estranged households and heal the rift, while also getting drawn into a younger generation's own cross-family romance.
